Watchfaces

Here is my Watchfaces assignment. For this assignment we had to design ten watchfaces. For my ten I designed one as an older kind of computer or game font, another one is a more modern one. One is a poker watch, one is an irish watch, one is a more creepy watch, one is spirals. The last four are gears, Roman Numerals, star thing and a cowboy watch. We had to make them in Black

and White.

Historical Design

Here is my Historical Design. It is about Suprematism. Suprematism happened during WW1 in Russia. My design is very simple. It says Suprematism and then has 3 overlapping squares.

Visually Enhanced Quote

I did make two because I really like Harry Potter quotes but I also like the Rascal Flatts song so I decided to make them both. The Harry Potter quote is spoken by Dumbledore and he says the wisest things are so true. The Rascal Flatts song speaks to me because it is also true.

Word Form and Function

Here is my word form and function. I chose to do BIG and small because they are opposites so it is funny and really easy to see that it is different.

December Calendar

Here is my December Calendar. I am finally done my calendar. It has been fun but it was a lot of work. I used Christmas colours, red and green. I made a christmas tree and it has lights on it and there are stars in the night sky. There is also a star at the top of the tree. There are a couple of

presents under the tree too.

November Calendar

Here is my November Calendar. It is really about Rememberance Day. The days of the month are on poppies. There are also crosses and other poppies. there is a hill and the sun is coming up. It also says "Lest We Forget". The background is a light blue.

October Calendar

Here is my October calendar. The days of the month are jack o lanterns. The days are orange. The background is black. there is also a ghost. It is a calendar for halloween. It is really spooky. My favourtite part is the ghost.

September Calendar

Here is my September Calendar. It has a teacher's desk and apples. It is symbolic of giving an apple to the teacher. The days of the month are all on apples. On the teacher's desk there is an apple and a book. The apples are also symbolic of the harvest that usually takes place in September and October.

August Calendar

My Calendar for August is a beach scene. The days of the month are on beach balls and then there is two shovels and a sand bucket. There is also a beach towel and it is a nice sunny day.

July Calendar

Here is my July Calendar. It has a lot of Maple leafs because it is for Canada Day on July the first. It also has a couple flags. One at the top and one at the bottom.

June Calendar

Here is my June Calendar. It is a graduation theme because I graduate in June. The days of the month are on graduation caps. There is also a grad cap and a diploma at the bottom.

May Calendar

Here is my May Calendar. It is full of flowers because of the rhyme april showers bring May flowers. I also wasn't sure what I was going to do for May. Mother's day is in May and lots of mom's like flowers so I made a spring scene.

April Calendar

Here is my April calendar. I choose to make the days of the month on easter eggs. there is also an easter egg basket and the easter bunny with some easter eggs.

March Calendar

Here is my March Calendar. St. Patrick's day is in march so I decided to make my march calendar all about St. Patrick's day. I have all the days on different coloured shamrocks and on St. Patrick's day I made a gold four leaf clover. There is also a pot of gold and a leprechaun.

February Calendar

here is the February Calendar. As you can see, I made the very cliched valentine's calendar. it is very pink and there are lots of hearts. All the days of the month are hearts.

January Calendar

I have to make a 12 month calendar. I have started on January. The days of the month are all snowflakes. There is a snowman at the bottom of the calendar. It is all blue and cold as most januarys are.
